How it works
Getting support is simple
No forms to fill in before we talk, and nothing you need to prepare. Just a friendly conversation about what would help.
Step by step
From your first message to support that works for you
1
Get in touch
Call or WhatsApp 07956 586377, email admin@livelifesupport.co.uk or send us a message. Tell us as much or as little as you like.
2
A friendly chat
We’ll arrange a time to talk, over the phone or in person, wherever you feel most comfortable.
3
Your support plan
Together we agree what your support will look like, how often we’ll meet and what you’d like to focus on first. This is a conversation, not an assessment you can fail.
4
Support begins
Your support starts, with the same friendly faces wherever possible, so you’re not explaining yourself over and over again.
5
Review and adjust
We check in regularly to see how things are going, celebrate progress and change your support as your needs change.
What to expect
What you can expect from us
Whatever kind of support you have, these are the promises we make to everyone we work with.
- We’ll treat you with kindness, patience and respect.
- We’ll listen before we suggest anything.
- We’ll turn up when we said we would, and let you know if anything changes.
- We’ll keep what you tell us private, unless someone is at serious risk of harm.
- We’ll go at your pace and never pressure you.
- We’ll point you towards other services whenever they could help.
What does support cost?
It depends on the type of support and how often you’d like it. We’ll always talk this through and agree it with you before anything begins, so there are no surprises.
If cost is a worry, tell us. We’ll talk through your options honestly, including whether any other services or funding might be able to help.
Getting in touch for someone else
Family members, friends and professionals are all welcome to contact us on someone’s behalf.
We’ll always check that the person you’re worried about is happy to hear from us before we go any further.
Your questions
Frequently asked questions
Who can get support from LiveLife Support?
Anyone who could use a hand in one of the four areas we cover: domestic abuse, young adult independence (ages 18 to 25), home help and companionship, or homelessness and resettlement. You can get in touch for yourself or for someone you care about.
Do you provide personal care?
Not at the moment. Our support covers companionship, practical help around the home and help with everyday life. We don’t provide personal care, such as help with washing, dressing or medication. If that’s what you need, we’ll gladly point you towards services that can help.
Can I get in touch on someone else’s behalf?
Yes. Family members, friends and professionals are all welcome to contact us. We’ll always check that the person you’re worried about is happy to hear from us before we go any further.
Is what I tell you kept private?
Yes. What you share with us is treated with care and respect. We only share it with your agreement, unless we’re worried that you or someone else is at serious risk of harm.
